You would think a place with so much incredible terrain and modern recreational facilities would draw large groups of enthusiasts for competitions and other events. And you’d be right. A perfect example was the 2002 Olympic Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our state welcomed the world to enjoy for a time what we enjoy every day. We’ve never put away our welcome mat since that magical winter. Utah is proud to be the host of some of the greatest sporting and cultural events in North America.
